Our Client: Actuant Corporation

Actuant Corporation, a global, diversified industrial company, approached us to conduct a search to find a Vice President of Sales and a Field Service Operations Leader, both in support of the Americas region of their Energy segment, which offers products and services to the oil, gas, nuclear, powergen, aerospace, and industrial markets.

Our client set a high bar for these high-visibility searches, which Quovis ultimately helped them to achieve. In addition to possessing a strong executive presence, the candidates would be required to have high-level, multi-channel experiences in industrial markets, strong and proven track records of leading dispersed workforces, as well as in-depth understanding and experiences in the energy sector.

Searching for a New Executives

Quovis was chosen for these professional searches because of our proven ability to qualify requirements and fully understand and translate culture, business goals, and objectives.

Using both active and passive sourcing techniques, we quickly attracted potential candidates. Our rigorous screening protocols allowed us to narrow the pool to 20 interested and qualified candidates, each to be interviewed by Quovis Principal Partners.

Success Led to Additional Search Needs

Our client extended offers for both leadership positions, Quovis successfully brokering the negotiations, resulting in two new executive hires.

After identifying and hiring both the new Vice President of Sales as well as the Field Service Operations Leader, our client retained us for another professional search, this time for an Inside Sales Leader to report directly to the new Vice President of Sales. Quovis successfully identified and placed a qualified candidate into that role as well.
