Our Client: Ashley Furniture

Ashley Furniture is a privately held manufacturer and retailer of furniture, headquartered in Arcadia, WI with over 700 corporate and licensee-owned stores in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Central America, and Japan. It also operates manufacturing and distribution centers in Wisconsin, Mississippi, California, Indiana, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Florida, China, and Vietnam.

Growing Pains in IT

As Ashley Furniture was growing exponentially, rapidly taking market share from other furniture manufacturers and retailers, they had yet to implement a talent acquisition function to support that growth. Though affecting all functional areas of the business, in this particular case, their manufacturing, retail POS, distribution, and e-commerce systems were becoming antiquated; there was a critical need to acquire talent in the IT space in order to enhance and/or replace and integrate these systems across their global footprint. Quovis was selected for multi-state recruitment across distributed locations in Arcadia (WI), Ecru (MS), and Bradenton (FL).

Multi-State Recruitment Collaboration & Success

Working in conjunction with HR leadership and Technology Managers across three states, Quovis assembled an internal infrastructure & recruiting process to support the high volume technical hiring blitz. Creating collaborative dashboards to be shared with all stakeholders, we held weekly update meetings with our clients across all three locations. Using our network, research tools, and online marketing, we were able to recruit 29 Software Developers, Business Intelligence Analysts, Systems Administrators, Network Analysts, and EDI Administrators over a period of six months.
